The paintings are a continuation of my work memorials (paintings). It is also part of my onging series of works (video, foto, documents, objects and paintings, 2004-today) on the Kotmale dam and the free trade zones in Sri Lanka. As a teen ager I lived in Kotmale in Sri Lanka for two years 1982-84 when my parents worked at Skanska that built the Kotmale dam.
